Applying our wraps is easy! But sometimes getting the label off the bottle to replace it can be a little trickier.
My favourite bottle to use is the "Frantelle - Little Refresher" bottle. They have a clear lid so will go with almost any decor theme. And they are small enough so that there is minimal waste. They look like this in the six pack and you can buy them in supermarkets (I go to my local IGA).
However don't despair if you have a larger bottle - the wraps will suit most regular store bought bottles up to 600ml.
Most water bottles have a plastic wrap that will just slip off and leave behind minimal glue residue.
You can also wrap "Pop Top" brand bottles (See the below picture).
But alas.......these come with a sticky label that can be hard to remove.
So what do do if that happens?
We've wrapped up a few top tips for removing that label for the perfect finish every time.
1. You can soak the bottle in warm soapy water and the label will soften and peel off. You can also apply a warm face washer or towel and hold on for 30 seconds or so and it might be enough to loosen the label too.
2. You can use Eucalyptus oil to remove the sticky residue left behind. A few drops on a rag and then rub it over and it should dissolve.
Consider the taste/smell left behind also if little ones are drinking out of the bottle. Be sure to wash all the oil off.
3. You can also use methylated spirits or nail polish remover, could also work for you. Apply in the same way as eucalyptus oil

4. You could try white vinegar for an eco friendly solution.
DO NOT use a razor blade or knife to try and scrape it off. You may cute the plastic bottle and water will go everywhere leaving you more than a sticky label situation!
